Headshot of Jonee Meiser

Jonee Meiser (she/her) discovered the barriers of digital inaccessibility when a high school student who frequented her tutoring center in 2012 struggled to use Kurzweil with their teachers’ scanned handouts. Since then, she has developed a passion for making digital and educational spaces accessible to people with disabilities as an accessibility professional and instructional designer. She specializes in developing strategies to improve access to digital content, services, and products while emphasizing product management participation in digital accessibility; and earned a Ph.D. in Human Factors in 2024 with qualitative research focused on managing accessibility. Currently, Jonee works as a Senior Accessibility Support Specialist at a digital educational publishing company in the Higher Education division. In her spare time, Jonee enjoys shuffling her two young children around to their activities and events with her husband.
